LaTeX: enumerate starting from zero.

How to start an enumerate list in LaTeX from any point, maybe 0 (engineers way).

\begin{enumerate}
\setcounter{enumi}{-1}
...
\end{enumerate}

Now the first item will be numered 0. If you replace -1 with 100 your first item will be 101, and so on. Easy peasy.
